Police are on the lookout for two gunmen who violently robbed a Frankfort hardware store. The store manager was severely beaten during the ordeal.

It happened Tuesday night at Lyons Hardware, just as the store was closing for the evening.

The manager says he was in the back of the store counting money. When he went out to the front, he found two men wearing bandanas armed with guns. Another employee and a customer were also inside the store at the time.

The manager says one of the robbers picked up a shovel and beat him with it.

Police are reviewing surveillance video from the store to try and figure out who committed the crime.
